Garden with us at the Interfaith Garden!

2026 Season work sessions begin Saturday March 31.

We start the season late March and garden through late October. Many of our volunteers come with groups organized by our faith organization partners. But there are also many opportunities for individuals who would like to help out independently. You can volunteer once or on a rotating basis throughout the season. Children 6+ are welcome, with a grownup.

Work sessions

Tuesdays 4:30-6pm

Saturday mornings - 9-10:30am in the early season, then 7:30-9 once the harvest begins late spring. 

We also often need pre-harvest crews Thursday / Fridays once harvest begins in earnest. At least 1 experienced volunteer should coordinate these ad-hoc sessions. 

Scheduling & Coordination

If the times above don’t work for you, there are other ways you can be involved. We also can use help with scheduling volunteers and coordinating between each partner faith organization.

Community Service hours may be available to students. We are approved at a few local schools.

Donations can be made by check, payable to First Parish Church with Interfaith Garden in the memo line and sent to:

Should we have more funds than are needed for our garden, we may send surplus to our partner organization, the Lexington Food Pantry. If you are interested in supporting the Pantry directly, more info can be found here. 

Donate produce

Growing more than you can use? Get your extras to the food pantry by dropping it off at the garden before 8:00am on a Saturday. Our volunteer crew will sort and package donations and include them with our harvest. This is easier for the food pantry to process, as they do not have cold storage and their setup time is tight. Go to the First Parish Church parking lot and look for the barn on the adjacent property.
